A community choir is inviting new members to join as it prepares for a series of summer performances in Halstead and Earls Colne.
The Stour Valley Singers, founded in 1989, has built a reputation for lively and well-received concerts, bringing together singers from across the region.
With around 25 members currently, the group is now looking to welcome new voices of all abilities.
Blending modern pop, show tunes and classical choral music, the choir prides itself on offering something for everyone.

Members describe the group as friendly and relaxed, with a strong social side alongside the music.
There is no audition required to join, and newcomers are invited to try their first three sessions free of charge.
Rehearsals take place weekly on Wednesday evenings at The Old School in Great Cornard, near Sudbury.
As part of their summer programme, the choir will be performing at St Andrew’s Church in Earls Colne on June 27, followed by an afternoon concert at Alphamstone Church on July 18.
Residents in Halstead and surrounding villages are encouraged to come along and enjoy the performances.
