A series of overnight road closures are set to cause disruption for drivers.
The A12 and A120 will be affected as part of ongoing maintenance works between Chelmsford and Colchester.
Drivers are being advised to plan ahead and follow designated diversion routes.
The A12 northbound between junctions 28 (Colchester United Football Ground) and 29 (Crown Interchange) will be closed overnight from 9pm to 5am on September 7 and September 8.
The closure includes the junction 28 northbound entry slip road and the junction 29 eastbound entry slip road to the A120.
A diversion route will be in place via Via Urbis Romanae, Axial Way, Severalls Lane, and Ipswich Road (A1232), leading to the Crown Interchange to join the A120 eastbound.
On September 9, the A12 junction 29 northbound exit slip road will be closed overnight from 9pm to 5am.
Drivers will need to continue onto the A120 eastbound and turn around at the Harwich Road roundabout to join the A120 westbound.

Further closures will affect the A120 eastbound at Crown Interchange on September 10 and September 11, with overnight closures in place from 9pm to 5am.
On September 14, the A120 eastbound will be closed from Crown Interchange to the A133, also from 9pm to 5am.
A diversion will take drivers from Crown Interchange onto Ipswich Road (A1232), St Andrew's Avenue, and through the Greenstead roundabouts to rejoin the A120 eastbound via Harwich Road.
To access the A133, drivers should continue eastbound on Colchester Road through Elmstead Market and Frating.
These closures are part of ongoing maintenance work on the A12 between Chelmsford and Colchester.
