Crowds turn out for Saffron Walden's Dance in the Square

The event was held on Saturday,  August 29 and was opened by Mayor of Saffron Walden Councillor Jeanette Curtis.

Visitors enjoyed performances from Marc Salmon and Harry, Mr Coverman and Brown Paper Bag.

The crowd lit up when Constellations, written by 11-year-old songwriter Rosie Porter when she was just nine, was played.

The evening concluded with all artists jamming to Country Rose, joined by Maeve from the Hooligans and with participation from the audience.

Jacqui Portway, from Saffron Walden Initiative, said: "SW Initiative thank our many sponsors, security, volunteers, food and bar stands for coming along, we simply couldn’t do it without you."
