DUNMOW Art Group is opening its autumn programme with an artist demonstration.
Sonia Villiers is an established artist from the Saffron Walden and Cambridge areas, painting mainly in acrylic, but also watercolour and collage.
The demonstration will take place in the Talberd Room, Foakes Hall, Great Dunmow from 7.30pm to 9.30pm on Wednesday, September 16.
Sonia is known for her lively and colourful town and cityscapes and is frequently commissioned for house portraits.
In 2019 she won the Mayor’s Choice Award at the inaugural Invitational Cambridge Art Awards.

She is also a member of the Cambridge Drawing Society and Saffron Walden Art Society, and conducts art classes from her home in Hadstock.
The painting demonstration costs £1 for members of the Dunmow Art Group and £5 for non-members.
Dunmow Art Group offers a regular schedule of weekly art meetings and monthly sessions with visiting artists.
