Search for Chelmsford teenager missing for two weeks

An urgent search has been launched to find a missing 15-year-old boy who was last seen two weeks ago.

Ashton Rye was last seen at about 5.50pm on 19 August in Chelmsford.

He is described as around 5ft 7in tall, slim, with short black hair.

Essex Police said: "Can you help us find 15-year-old Ashton Rye?

"We want to find him as soon as possible to make sure he's safe and well."

He is known to have links to Colchester.

Anybody with information on his whereabouts should call 999, quoting incident 4 of Thursday 20 August.
