Drivers are facing disruption in Braintree this evening as a key town-centre route has been closed.
Courtauld Road is shut for UK Power Networks roadworks between Bradford Street and Coggeshall Road.
The closure is causing delays on surrounding roads as traffic diverts through Braintree town centre.
Motorists are being advised to allow extra time and consider alternative routes where possible.
