A major fast-food chain appears to be staying open in Halstead despite fears it could be closing.
The site of Greggs, at 68 High Street was recently put on the market by Fenn Wright raising questions over the bakery in the town.
The three-storey building has brick elevations and a pitched and tiled roof with part flat roof to the rear, along with four car parking spaces.
Greggs is one of four premises included in the listing which is let to them with a 10-year lease from November 11, 2022.
A Greggs spokesperson said the "area manager has not been informed so this is unlikely to impact Greggs".
The store has been open on Halstead High Street since the start of 2023.
