A reported crash is causing severe traffic delays on the A12 near Heybridge.
The incident reportedly happened on the Colchester-bound carriageway at the Ingatestone bypass this afternoon, at around 3.42pm.
The road remains partially blocked and only partially passable, according to traffic maps.
Queues have formed on the approach, with delays back to Brentwood.
