Pupils at a school in Braintree are enjoying a new sensory garden thanks to support from a housebuilder.
Tabor Academy created the outdoor space for students after receiving funding from Dandara, which is building new homes in the town.
Sensory gardens are designed to stimulate sight, smell, touch, taste and sound through plants and landscaping features.
The garden includes an olive tree, funded by Dandara, alongside willow trees, lavender, clematis, daffodils, tomatoes and a variety of herbs.

School leaders say the space will provide pupils with a calming environment where they can relax, connect with nature and develop important sensory skills.
Deputy headteacher Mark Bowman said: "Creating a sensory garden for our pupils is a fundamental part of helping them develop.
"Dandara’s support will mean the children can enjoy and learn more about nature as we enter the warmer months, and enhance the vital senses needed for their development."
