A DEMENTIA-FRIENDLY screening of the Hollywood classic Calamity Jane is coming to Saffron Screen this summer.
The community cinema will show the musical in a relaxed environment at 11am on Sunday, July 28, specifically for people living with dementia, their families, friends and carers.
The screening will feature adjusted lighting and sound levels, a 15-minute interval, and the freedom to move around during the film.
Jason Bond, head of cinema at Saffron Screen, said: "We're delighted to offer this dementia-friendly screening, giving people the opportunity to enjoy the magic of the big screen in a relaxed, safe and supportive environment.
"We look forward to welcoming members of our community to share this much-loved Hollywood classic together."
