Drivers are facing standstill traffic on a major Essex route.
Essex Travel News is reporting miles of delays on the A130 close to the A12 junction near Chelmsford.
According to the agency, there is slow-moving traffic between the Rettedon Turnpike and Howe Green turn-offs.
It is understood that roadworks are causing the delays in the northbound carriageway.
A photo posted by Essex Travel News shows that there are severe delays in the area.
Traffic sensors are suggesting delays of around 20 minutes as a result.
Drivers are being advised to leave with plenty of time if they are travelling in the area.
