A FLEETWOOD Mac tribute band is bringing classic rock magic to one of north Essex’s prettiest nature spots this summer.

Billed as ‘Live Beside the Lake’, Brentwood Mac’s show will blend festival vibes with old-school picnic charm.

It’s far from a typical tribute night in a hall – with thick blankets on the grass, reflections in the water and guitars ringing out across the lakeside as the sun dips behind the trees.

Brentwood Mac have built a serious following across Essex and beyond, consistently selling out venues thanks to their attention to detail.

Their set spans the full Fleetwood Mac story, from the bluesy Peter Green era through to Rumours‑era juggernauts and later hits, with silky harmonies and unmistakable hooks.

They lean into the “authentic and unforgettable” promise, channelling everything from Stevie Nicks’ haunting vocals to Mick Fleetwood’s driving rhythms, and paying tribute to every era of the band’s tangled history.

Gosfield Lake itself is half the attraction. A haven for watersports and walkers, its tree‑lined shores and open skies make a perfect natural amphitheatre.

It’s hard to imagine a more idyllic setting than Gosfield Lake for an evening of Fleetwood Mac anthems.

For this show, the banks become a relaxed outdoor venue where you can bring your own food, drinks and picnic chairs or simply graze from The Snack Shack.

Hot food – from burgers (meat and veggie) and breakfast‑style rolls to wraps and chips – is pitched at family‑friendly prices, with a cheeseburger and chips topping out at £10.50, while the bar serves wine, beer, canned cocktails, a few spirits and the essential crisps and nuts.

Gosfield Lake is also offering a limited number of camping pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, turning the gig into a mini-festival under the stars.

Fans are encouraged, though not obliged, to turn up in full Fleetwood Mac style.

With free parking from 5.45pm, gates at 6pm, a 7.30pm start and the lake as your backdrop, Brentwood Mac beside Gosfield Lake looks set to be one of the standout summer nights on the local entertainment calendar.

Visit the Brentwood Mac Ticketsource page to secure tickets, and the Gosfield Lake website to book a camping pitch.
