Queues are starting to build on a key Essex route after a lane was reported “blocked.”
The blockage has been reported on the northbound A12 towards Chelmsford, between the B1002 Roman Road and Junction 14 for Margaretting.
AA are reporting a "emergency repairs" as the cause of the block.

The nature of the repairs is currently unknown.
National Highways has been contacted for a comment.
Traffic is said to be queuing back towards Junction 12.
Drivers are advised to allow for extra time if travelling through the area.
