A "loving family man" has died following a collision involving a van and two lorries.
Gary Porritt, 43, from Exchange Yard, Stockton-on-Tees, was driving a Ford Transit van when the collision happened on June 12.
The crash took place on the M11 southbound between junctions 10 and 9a, near Duxford, at about 12.15pm.
The road was closed for much of the afternoon and evening.
He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
In a tribute, Mr Porritt’s family said: "Gary was a loving family man, a devoted partner to Claire and a great friend to many.
"He was always willing to help others, loved fishing and will be remembered for his kindness, generosity and love.
"He has left a void in our family that will never be filled."
Miroslaw Muszynski, 69, of Priory Road, Dartford, Kent, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
He is due to appear at Cambridge Crown Court on July 13.
