A major new housing development in Halstead has officially opened its doors to the public, following the start of construction last summer.
Bournewood Park, located on Bournebridge Hill, is a 197-home development by Hopkins Homes, offering a mix of one to four-bedroom properties.
Work on the site began in August last year, and the launch marks a significant milestone for the project as prospective buyers are now able to explore the new community.
The development has already generated strong interest מאז the opening of its show homes, according to the developer.

Of the 197 homes planned, 30 per cent will be designated as affordable housing, contributing to local housing needs.
The development is also designed with sustainability in mind, with all homes set to be net-zero ready. Features include air source heat pumps and electric vehicle charging points as standard.
In addition to new housing, Bournewood Park aims to enhance local biodiversity.
Plans include a 17 per cent habitat unit gain, alongside the planting of 550 native trees.
Wildlife-friendly features such as bird-nesting bricks and hedgehog highways will also be incorporated throughout the site.
With a focus on both modern living and environmental responsibility, the development is expected to play a key role in shaping Halstead’s growing community.
Visitors interested in the new homes can attend the site between Thursday and Monday, from 10am.
